About CVIA

The Covid Vaccine Injury Alliance (CVIA) is a coalition of national organisations and groups from around the world, each made up of citizens who have suffered harms or lost loved ones due to the COVID-19 vaccines. Collectively, our organisations represent hundreds of thousands of citizens who chose to get vaccinated upon the advice of their national public health authorities and in the interests of protecting themselves, their families and their communities.

Key Points

Public health agencies and ministries around the world have:

  • Failed to adequately and transparently assess the safety profiles of the Covid vaccines,
  • Failed to undertake scientific studies of those individuals harmed by the Covid vaccines,
  • Failed to provide adequate support and compensation for people injured or bereaved by the Covid vaccines, and
  • Engaged in significant campaigns that censored the voices of the vaccine-injured and bereaved and minimised discussion of Covid vaccine harms.

Brief expansion of these points are provided below.

Covid Vaccine Safety

Public health assertions that the Covid vaccines are “safe & effective” should be predicated on accurate and honest scientific assessments of clinical trial information and pharmacovigilance data. Assertions of safety would also assume that cases of serious adverse reactions are studied by public health authorities.

Unfortunately, our national vaccine regulators have failed to adequately respond to concerns raised by Covid vaccine clinical trial data, whistleblowers, and trial participants that show significant safety issues have gone unreported, underreported, and misreported by pharmaceutical corporations and by regulatory authorities.

During the rollout of these products to the public, patients across the world convey significant under-reporting of AEFI (adverse events following immunization) by medical staff, and receive no follow-up or investigation from government authorities tasked with assessing ongoing vaccine safety issues. Despite the ongoing assurances from our national governments that they are closely monitoring these products for safety issues, our collective experiences demonstrate that our governments are falling far short of their obligations towards the public, and that their statements regarding our monitoring and care are highly misleading.

Our requests for help over many years, despite evidence of clinically confirmed serious reactions, have resulted in little, if any, government investigation or ongoing health monitoring, leading to no government support.

Scientific Studies

Around the world, national government agencies tasked with assessing ongoing vaccine safety are not compelled to undertake detailed scientific studies of individuals or large cohorts of vaccine-harmed patients, nor are pharmaceutical companies obligated to do this. It falls instead to the broader scientific community to initiate and fund such studies, which are politically inconvenient and have limited commercial application given the impunity arrangements already gifted to Covid vaccine producers. Scientists therefore risk their careers doing important and necessary work concerned with reactions and product safety.

Despite this, there are now many thousand peer-reviewed scientific journal articles documenting a diverse array of serious adverse reactions to Covid vaccines experienced by individuals and groups. No public health organisation has committed funds towards researching appropriate treatments for the Covid vaccine-injured. No public funding has been set aside anywhere in the world to study the similarities and differences between medical issues arising from Covid infection versus those following Covid vaccine reactions.

Lack of Support

The persistent messaging that the Covid vaccines were “safe & effective” ensured that many frontline medical professionals were dismissive of even very severe symptoms following Covid vaccination. In cases where medical staff did connect patients’ new onset medical conditions with vaccination, such assessments were often withheld from patients’ formal medical records, and not reported to pharmacovigilance authorities.

Sadly, these systemic reporting issues have left an overwhelming number of vaccine-injured citizens without prompt or appropriate medical investigation or treatment from their national health systems. Some patients with severe reactions died due to either succumbing to very serious and undiagnosed conditions, or by choosing to end their own lives amidst medical gaslighting, media censorship, and relentless pain and suffering.

The lack of acknowledgement by public health systems globally has meant that the vast majority of people injured by the Covid vaccines have been unable to receive compensation from their national compensation schemes (where such schemes are available). Across our membership, we estimate that close to 99% of citizens harmed or bereaved due to the Covid vaccines have not been compensated by their governments.

Censorship

It is now acknowledged, as a result of public inquiries, that the Covid vaccine-injured have been censored for over four years. Many of our political representatives initially ignored these concerns entirely. Our attempts to gain medical insights via social media were repressed, while we endured traditional media platforms’ unwillingness to cover stories of Covid vaccine injuries and especially to investigate and address the systemic issues associated with failed pharmacovigilance. It has taken years for the Covid vaccine-injured to gain access to the democratic process. On the rare occasions that our plight has been addressed in parliaments, many of our elected representatives have walked out of proceedings, leaving politicians speaking on the topic of Covid vaccine injuries to empty rooms.

Multiple public inquiries, reputable investigative journalism and social media platforms themselves have revealed that many of our governments actively colluded with media organisations to ensure that our true medical stories and situations were censored and our accounts shadow-banned and taken down. This denied extremely vulnerable people a vital space of peer support in a period of almost total abandonment.

Conclusion

Covid vaccine injuries impact people from all walks of life, from all across the globe. Each person shares the same experiences: struggling with government recognition and care, inability to receive access to informed medical teams, compensation pitfalls, and censorship. This led to poor health outcomes, which are ongoing for the majority of injured. Together, unified by our collective struggle to restore our health and livelihoods, the CVIA encourages every government, health ministry, health agency, and their responsible leaderships to engage directly with citizens who have become Covid vaccine-injured or bereaved. We call on our respective governments, health institutions, and research facilities to investigate, identify, and address the mounting scientific concerns and unprecedented systemic regulatory failures our experiences have uncovered. We demand a redirect of all necessary resources towards supporting injured and bereaved citizens with compassion, understanding and integrity.

Further Reading & Supporting Evidence

We encourage all public health officials and political representatives to read the already substantial evidence provided to governments around the world, and in particular draw their attention to evidence and testimony provided to official public inquiries in:

October is Vaccine Injury Awareness Month, and for this year the CVIA has selected two themes to promote:

“Your vaccine injury does not define you”

A reminder to all vaccine injured people that while they may be injured, they still have an identity that is much more than their health situation. Watch our video below.

“I am not misinformation”

With governments around the world increasing their efforts to enshrine into laws how social media should remove content that is deemed misinformation, vaccine injured people face even more censorship by being the evidence that governments don’t want the world to see.
